If you have very clot infused periods they are supposed to be a lot lot better than tampons as they collect, rather than try to absorb, which of course, does not work well with clots

Much healthier too, when I was having my near death experience in hospital they first assumed I had a retained tampon and had toxic shock syndrome - even in my half conscious stupor I managed to proudly convey that I don't use tampons and use a mooncup

When I worked for the NHS helpline years ago I spoke to a girl who was running a temp, shivery and vomiting, typical flu symptoms. Turns out she had TSS and an emergency ambulance was called for her as she was so ill.

My horniness occurs about 14 days in - in fact OH can predict when I'm ovulating by the sudden increase in the number of times he gets 'jumped'

The hungriness starts at the same time as the inability to control my anger. The motorists of Sheffield who cut me up, drive too close. left hook me know about it for the two days before and the first two days of my period.
And ask the pharmacist what happened when he tried to sell me the buscopan for periods instead of the buscopan for IBS (period buscopan costs more even though it's the exact same thing)
