Er, has anything actually been proved against him yet?. When I say proof I don't mean statements from other riders who probably have more to lose. I mean an actual sample of blood/urine that shows a definite existence of a banned substance.I agree asterix, very sad indeed that so many people who found him an inspiration have been cheated by him all along.
I'll be very upset indeed if it has the power to ban him from cycling. From competition, maybe, but from getting on a bike at all?It would seem the USADA may not have the authority or jurisdiction to strip him of his titles anyway.
Again, read the other thread. It's all been done to death in there.Er, has anything actually been proved against him yet?. Its not very encouraging when a couple of lads join the local time trial club and bash out
a 30 minute 10tt, only to get disheartened to see a 50 year old do it in 24 minutes.

For those who want to know some of the background to all this...
I can only suggest you read through the thread linked to earlier. There's little point in duplicating the arguments here. Keep this thread for reactions etc.

So how much of it goes in in the local town time-trials, etc?
Have you ever suspected one of the guys doing his weekly ride on the top "dogs dangleys" bike
which his superior salary has bought ... has also "crossed the line" and bought some powder from
his mate up the pub?
