Primoz having a better palmares than Froomey?
I'll die on that hill.
How's Froome's monument/one day race record look? Olympic gold medals? National titles? Ski jumping wins?
Froome was good at what he attempted, but his scope was super narrow.

Primoz was the best week-long stage racer since Kelly. Of the big seven races he's the only rider to have won six of them, and 11 in all - Kelly has the record at 14

I'd still rank Froome above him, but I think he's a little underrated by virtue of never winning the Tour, and scraping a Giro over Geraint
Four Vuelta's isn't bad at all either

That first list's going to look like a bit of a Slove-in by the end of the year.

True, Pogacar is down to race Suisse, isn't he?

TBH, it's the 11 wins for Roglic that's astounding - doing that from the Skineos Geraint/Bernal era and into the Pog/Vingegaard (plus loyal deputies) era is either a masterpiece of race choice or some serious ability

A month later, and still no WT win for the teams above.

But it could be worse, imagine approaching the 8th anniversary of your last pro win 😱 :

Picnic post are 28th in the list of points at present... with 10 pro tour teams ahead of them.
Not great for their sponsors...
... in fact, so far off the radar, I've not had a picnic this year.

Dogtrousers

Lefty tighty. Get it righty.
It's a shame because my wife has really taken to them and always asks "How are Pickernick Baskets NL doing?" when I'm watching the cycling. I never have any good news for her.

Only 2 left.

Picnic really not having a picnic this season. They're now UCI ranked 30th, under Hungarian PRT team MBH CSB Telecom Fort

Who? Ah, they were the slightly more well known but still not exactly massive Colpack for many years, and were Italian last year. Italy losing yet another team? 😢

Pavel Bittner's 95 points (25 for 11th on stage 7, 70 for 5th on stage 8) were the only UCI points Team Picnic PostNL scored in the 2026 TDF. It's pitiful, really.

Pulling Frits Biesterbos out halfway through "for his development" was a weird one, wonder how he feels about not being allowed to ride to Paris? It's a bad Tour when your team's most noteworthy result will be third place in the Lanterne Rouge.

Any news on whether they've got a licence next year? Their initial licence from the UCI was one year only as they didn't have the financial foundation for a three year WT stint and needed sponsors.
