LBS really not helping themselves

I know the owner very well .... he is a good mechanic.. just a bit sharp !

Saw someone who he assumed wouldn't know a thing about bikes. Over charged, big time! Failed to diagnose the real problem and then tried for another exorbitant bill!

And they wonder why I do my own repairs and buy online?

Exactly! So short-sighted on the LBS side it makes you think they want to go broke.

Just to add, I have an excellent lbs with excellent customer service and will price match or beat a lot of web prices. I only buy from them because if it's not right it gets replaced or fixed straight away.
Just saying, find a good one and stick to it.
