Usually I'd just mince it up for rissoles and have done with it, but this was a particularly nice leg o' lamb and it seems a bit of a waste to shred it. Any suggestions? One thing that's hovering around the back of my mind is I think a North African dish. Rice, lumps of lamb, raisins, perhaps turmeric or saffron? Ring any bells? Or any other ideas - all welcome!

Between slices of bread. Thick crusty bread. With a bit of sea salt and nothing else.

bread and tomato ketchup - pickle is just that little bit too tart, especially if the lamb is lean.

The only proper gourmet I know insists on tomato ketchup on roast lamb

I usually make it into a Tagine kind of thingy. Just put the meat in in later in the process than you would with raw.
Authentic? Maybe not. Yum? definitely
