i've had this several times, cracked mouth corners. not caused by the winter or the cold.
your lips are more likely to crack with the cold
cracked corners could be something else, like diet
do you eat a lot of oily fish. an excess of fish oil can cause it i read (scroll to the 'drugs' section https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angular_cheilitis )
i would eat mackerel and it was the only thing i could put it down to at the time. haven't had this in a good while thankfully
