Mini T's smile as I pick him up from school on a Monday and that he still gets excited about cycling home (10 miles).

Only got a couple of years left I reckon before he turns into a grumpy prenager!

work related...today, I wanted to dig deeper while servicing a 63 bucket weighing machine (the machine is as big as a shed)
3 x weighing / conveyors, checked drive and conveying belts, checked bearings.
12 x bucket opening cylinder clevis pins, all renewed (prone to snapping)
63 x bucket release mechanisms, lubricated with ptfe spray.
Drive chains lubed.
Weigh cells calibrated.
4 hours work. Why does it brighten my day ?...I hardly ever ever get time to complete work like this, its do this, do that, stop that, do this, then there's always three other things in the background to think about, time time time, never enough of it.
I set out to do something of value...and got it done, uninterrupted.

I did wonder if it was just some local thing when I saw mine but it would appear not.

All over country ours have been getting the treatment last couple of years
