It has good lubrication properties in other areas too

Be very wary of all the 'rubbish' spouted on the internet, especially by any influencer that will tell you this or that is the best thing ever, including food supplements...

I have rubber grease for suspension components on the MTB (shocks), Finish line grease, coppa slip, and marine grease. Marine grease is the best all round stuff as it's designed to work on a boat, which given conditions bikes work in, is ideal.

With a bit of elbow grease they'll all be fine. See what I did there. Lol.
