Llandudno Great Orme - 1st Timer

There is lots of 'porkies' being told. What's your bottom gear ?

im not telling porkies , I made it to the top relatively easy last weekend , in fact it was probably my best time going up there ………………………….

I assume you are going up past the Tram stop !

There are two ways up the Orme

1) From the tramstop, impossible for all but the really fittest. Decent stretch of 20%+

2) Up the hairpins via the cemetery. I've done that, it's not too hard. All the way to the cafe at the top

Unless you're unbelievably fit then (2) is the only real option

Route two for me, then back down to Marine Drive via the hairpins and up to the other cafe. Then down to Gogarth and ice cream in Llandudno on the prom. How did it go David?

Yes i usually spend 10 minutes sat in Happy Valley , Bike leaning against the tree near the toll , then either up it or round it , depends how the legs are feeling .
