I think that's a bit harsh. CoG has organised these before and while I've never attended, I've heard they are actually a really good night out. You can of course organise your own curry night in any area of Londonso the commuters who ve in East, West or North London were considered in icking a destination in the deepest south of London
It's just short of 7 miles from Charing Cross. That makes it easily reachable by bike if you don't wish to drink. By tube it's even easier.
Responsible cycling Becs remember. Responsible!!!Surely 7 miles is very doable even if you are drinking!
Exactly!!!We don't want any more unscheduled dismounts on station platforms, now do we?![]()
I'm very responsible after a glass or 2 of wine . . . I have to be cos I wobble more!Responsible cycling Becs remember. Responsible!!!
So does Croydon1791155 said:As ever SE London gets completely overlooked.
Well User13710 from the south coast is managing to get there and we both managed the pre-Xmas do, so all you have to do is make an effort. They are hardly for LONDON commuters though - which is what is advertised as. It is for avery narrow section of South London commuters
I have no problem with anyone organising a meet up or night out, just don't claim it to be something it isn't
As I said, the commuters who are in in East, West and North London were considered in picking a destination in the deepest south of London
