long wait!

Received my new shimano cleat pedals today but I can't try them until my birthday at the end of the month as my son said he will buy me the shoes to go with them for my birthday. Ah well, mustn't wish my life away, not at my age anyway ,so I shall be patient and wait. By the way, 31st of October it is, don't forget!

I am happy!!! My son decided to give me an early birthday present so got my shoes today! He said I must make the most of the weather before it turns too bad. He is just like his dad, very wise!!
Too busy tomorrow to ride but may practice cleating in and out. Don't want to report on here of a silly fall.

Yay. Enjoy. We are recent converts (as of the end of August) and have never looked back. All our bikes have SPD pedals on now.
