2017 isn't a leap year!

That would be my woeful Grade 5 CSE in maths (1984) coming back to haunt me.

When you achieve way beyond your expectations one year you'll feel the need to achieve even more the following year. If you don't you'll be disappointed. If you under achieve this year next year you'll have an easier target.

It must be stunning to ride on Stornoway.

It is

Not many routes if all you have time for is a quick ride from home - but the scenery and quiet roads more than make up for that. Short days and winter weather can get you down tho'

350 miles since late November 15. At least I am walking and slowly back to cycling as the pain gets better. Long rides are not going to be possible with my back until I adjust to it's new 'shape'.

Normally, I'd cover 350 miles in just over 2 weeks.

Glad your getting your work stress under control.

still some summer/autumn riding to be had .

Don't fret about mileage just enjoy the rides you do.

Bloody work
You have 2 options.
1. New job with less hours.
2. Stop recording mileage and enjoy what you are able to do.
