Lovely weather for cycling today

I don't understand why I sometimes enjoy cycling in this horrible weather. Anyone else been out in it? It's been pissing it down here in Southampton but now it's just turned into a protracted out drissle.

No, and I'm supposed to be doing training runs all this week ready for next Sunday.

Threw it down here all day, with a strong wind as well most of the time.

Cycled back from north Norfolk in the wet today. Chanced upon an open farm Sunday event at Barway near Ely, with hog roast no less, just as I was completely flagging. Couldn't have been better timed!

Yes v grim today, the wind worse than the rain tbh, anyway a but nice hot bath made up for it.

The Bristol's Biggest Bike Ride was cancelled today due to the rain and a car accident on the route before it started - I went to the start and was surprised by how many others also turned up ... some did the ride anyway - well according to a friend of mine who wasn't starting at proper start point.

I took one look outside and one look at the weather forcast and went back to bed. If I've got an essential journey to make I'll ride in the rain, but if its just for pleasure I wont bother.

So it was... I got 62 miles in this morning...well, home at about 1.30pm. Went up Ryal banks twice... odd noise from bottom bracket area though... bit worrying, as only had it changed in April...

Twice??? Wow Fnaar! My bottom bracket would be making odd noises too, I hope you apologised.
