loving the morning rides

its just so good this time of year to cycle in the morning, its fresh outside, not to cold, not to warm, no wind...perfect conditions for cycling, loving it.

After last weeks awful rain its been truly beautiful this week, plus the bikes not dirty so I get the weekend off from cleaning the old girl !

I almost wore full length trousers, it was that cold this morning. My breath was visible, but once I got going I was fine.

My commute this morning was one of those in which I wished it was double the distance...also my old mate is back...

Waterloo Bridge minus the roadworks...I forgot about it on the return though and used Blackfriars...Used it on the way in though.

it has been a pleasure biking in this week. Mornings have been cool, but not too cold, and perfect for giving it big licks on a quiet canal tow path. Evenings have been very warm, and perfect for a leisurely ride home (the only down side is when the sun's out the canal is very busy and too busy for speed). The normal westerly head winds have been absent and it's been perfectly still.

It's been so nice, i even extended my ride home a couple of times.
