Only a fool would by that TVR. They are always broken.
It will be interesting to see what the mclaren actually sells for. I bet it ends up near the top estimate of £80k.

Must admit i had a Tvr many moons ago and it was a sensation to drive apart from one night when a rear wheel bearing decided to lock up on me going up the M1 in the rain which was quite scary .

I reckon nearer to 100k for the Mclaren

The came from the factory broken , making them into a working car was half the fun apparently.

Reminds me of the Flanders and Swann 'skit' from the 60s which they talk about MOT testing going from 10 years to 7 years - but with their being talk of making it every 3 years, and even a suggestion that they might test cars before they left the factory. Good old 60s manufacturing!
