A set of new set of Continentals, £350, being fitted Sunday

What size Andy ? That seems a really good price for Continentals, I struggle to get mid range tyres for less, let alone premiums. Mine are an odd size though, 215/45/18s , they're not a common size...so I've.peobably answered my own question

The prize Honda CR-V I won back in 2022 had it's MOT this morning. It passed with no advisories.

Was it a brand new CRV you won?

The Merc E220 is off for it's annual guessing game tomorrow. In recent weeks it's had new rear discs and pads, new suspension drop links front and rear and today it got new parking brake shoes. The shoes should have been done whilst the discs were being changed but I bought the wrong ones so had to wait for replacements to arrive

As far as I can tell there's nowt to fail it on ... but you never know. Fingers crossed 🤞 and Hail Mary's said

Woo-Hoo! Another PASS today - not entirely clear but a pass is a pass :hyper: The tester said that when he saw the mileage on the clock he though "Uh-Oh, this could be dodgy" but aside from two very minor things "the car is in great nick and obviously well cared for".

Many E-class with the OM651 engine suffer a slight oil leak from the back of the engine and mine is no different. It's a major amount of work (engine out) to remedy what is such a slight loss of oil that you can't see the level drop on the dip stick between services. Mine has been marking his territory on the drive for about ten months ... and will continue to do so. The other issue mentioned is that both front wheel bearing need adjusting so that's a job for the weekend (weather permitting). When it was on the lift yesterday I couldn't feel anything but who am I to argue 🤷‍♀️
