My car's turn today - passed with only 2 advisories - one was the same as last year (brake pad wearing thin O/S rear outer), the other was all brake discs worn, pitted or scored (not surprising as it's not been used for 3 weeks and my minimal use of the brakes when I do drive).
I'll take that for for an 11 year old Mazda.

You probably needed to give it a drive with a bit of braking to clean up the disks, that is assuming they are in generally good condition.

I know - it's frequently left unused for two or three weeks at a time and the first few brake applications are always accompanied by noise as the pads clean the discs. I plan on giving it a good run later in the week.
