Senior Managements Yaris-hybrid has just been for its MOT test this morning
There was a couple of weeks leeway, in case anything was required & needed ordering

It was a PASS

I’m surprised it had done so few miles between tests as she seems to use it constantly, covering only 7,997miles

It's the same local garage, that looks after my Kodiaq

My Polo is a smaller car than I'd prefer, but I bought it for the kids to learn in.
Except my 17 yr old won't go anywhere near it. My 20 year old has had 3 years of learning but still hasn't bothered to book a theory test! What the hell is wrong with them?

But it's an awesome car; it sailed through another MOT last week, and I've just renewed the tax for 12 months at a mere £20. Fab!

Our 10 year Citigo passed today, one advisory for a slightly worn suspension bush which I’ll have done at the next service, the car only does around 5000 a year so not urgent.

Loved our Up's - High up! followed by a Gti. The latter being a real hoot to drive.

Got the van's MOT a fortnight tomorrow.

Our 2005 Peugeot Partner (think Citroen Berlingo) was tested last week. We'd been having trouble with lights/indicators, so I fitted a new COM2000 unit which cured that, however, I couldn't get the horn to work, and to get at it meant dismantling the front end of the car, as the horn is located beyond the NS headlight. Grrrrr!!

I could hear the relay clicking in, but no sound so I suspected bad earth or connection at the horn itself.
Asked the garage to fix the horn and test the car. Expecting a fairly large bill.

Explained all this to the lovely man at the MoT station, went back two hours later and it had passed, no advisories! Result!!

'How did you fix the horn?"

"It's a secret, but cus it's you, if you get a stick, and poke it through the radiator grill you can get at the horn. Give it a nudge with the stick and the movement is enough to get a decent contact for earthing. Listen, it works."

Charged me £54.00 including the test!
