Mac help

I have a problem with my 1st gen Macbook Air. After upgrading to osx 10.5.6 the keyboard, trackpad & USB is unresponsive. i am able to enter safe mode, but unable to proceed further.

Will I be able to connect to my imac via firewire and fix the problem??

Did you download the keyboard firmware update at the same time as 10.5.6?

use the imac to run the macbook via screenshare, which will circumvent the problem with the keyboard while you get the firmware upgrade from http://support.apple.com/downloads/#macbookair.
