limey..it's all a bit jammy in here..though I'd be worried if some got themselves in a pickle.

Though I'd gratefully accept a jar of homemade marmalade/jam- would love to make some myself but a whole batch would be a lot..would be forever giving jars to people...hint, hint...heheh

I've heard they travel well by post. I'd shred the packaging afterwards if need be.

Sounds great! Can you post the recipe?:smile:

1kg fruit
1kg sugar
juice of lemons (2 maybe)
some water

Very Similar to 661-Pete's pressure cooker recipe (but half the sugar). I soften the oranges in water in my slow cooker. I then cut and de-pip, collecting pips. Then into the liquidiser to mash it all up adding water as required. Boil up the pips separately, strain and use fluids in liquidiser or into jam pan. Put mash into jam pan, add the sugar stir and boil. Keep boiling and as it reduces, keep testing to see when it sets. Into warm jars and put lid on to make a seal. Then open as required and spread liberally on bread or toast. Enjoy

Simples

Fine Fine I can take a very subtle hint you two . It's all in 2lb glass jars  . I could sort something out I suppose based on plastic containers perhaps as we can't have Postie getting all sticky and cut to shreds. PM me with your details if you'd like a sample.
