Marmite is da bizz, fo shizz. Love the stuff. On bread or toast, I find it goes well on its own, or with peanut butter, or with cheese, or both of those. I use it in all meat/tomato based recipes (i.e. spag bol, lasagne, shepherds pie, etc) and also in stews and whatnot. It is lovely stuff and should be celebrated across the world, not banned by a bunch of pernickety Canadians.

Irn Bru contains at least one additive - Ponceau 4R - which has been linked to hyperactivity and does not appear on the approved food list in Canada.
That explains some of the behaviour of our local scrotes then! Well, that and the Buckfast.

That's because the Canadians don't like what we poutine Marmite.

This is an officially licenced Aperitif post

We don't need them, all they've got is bacon, pastries and a jazzy jumper, we can get those elsewhere.

Top tip for Marsh**e* lovers not from me but my daughter -

She opens the jar of marmite and dips breadsticks in it = Giant Twiglets!
She is a student and I think that is all she actually lives on.

I hate the stuff and really do not even like it in things like sauces or gravy, it just makes whatever you put it with just taste of marmite.

Very oddly I love twiglets though.
