I've taken my mudguards of twice this year, a bit premature the first time, had to put them back on for a damp Sunday. Now they are of again I hope I don't have to put them back on for a while.

A full front mudguard helps keep road filth off your chainset.

mine were fitted when new and I hardly know they're there

I seriously get the arse when following someone else when the roads are wet, it's suprised how far behind a bike throw wet dirty water into the air and more importantly my face

No mudguards for me.

A wet bum I can live with, trying to see where I'm going with a stream of road water flying into my face is the problem.

Just 1 mudguard for me (front). not by choice though, just haven't got around to replacing broken back one.

Mine are only raceblades, took them off while I was cleaning the bike and left them off as the weather looks good for a few days.
I'm sure they'll be going back on before long, unfortunately.
Other bike has full guards that stay on all year round and gets used only in the wet these days.
