We've just learned the terrible news that Geddy's doggy Mummy left for Rainbow Bridge in the night. Apparently she'd been unwell for a few months with fits, and this morning her owner woke up to find that she'd slipped away. We're all heartbroken

Bruce and Geddy have doggy dressing gowns so when they come home from a wet walk they dont shake dirty water up the walls.
Bruce, who is a sensitive soul, thinks hes being punished when it goes on so I took his off after 20 minutes.
Geddy, on the other hand, positively luxuriates in his and wouldnt let me remove it.

My Alsatian (GSD in metric) was sort of the opposite
she would be very keen on getting her dinner in the mornings
take a couple of small mouthfuls of it then carry it into the middle of the garden
curl up round it
then leave it somedays
biscuits were the same - if I was going out - or to work or whatever
she was very keen on getting the right number of the right biscuits
but I would often go out for a while
and come back and she still had them on her bed
(God help me if I tried to take them back - I got "Looks"!!!)
she did however have some sort of "secret arrangement" with my Mum regarding Sunday Roast
I was apparently - according to the females of the family (1 mother and 2 dogs) not allowed to enquire!
