Meguiars Scratch X 207ml on Matte Frame

Can this be used on a matte frame? It says on the bottle it is "totally safe on all paint finishes".

What do you think? Will it get rid of light scratches on the frame? I'm also planning on using it on glossy components.

Unfortunately it will probably make your matte finish shiny. It’ll be fine on the glossy bits.

I’d be highly sceptical of any product that claims it can hide scratches unless it contains some pigment that approximates to your frame colour. You’ll be better off with an automotive product that has this.

Unfortunately it will probably make your matte finish shiny. It’ll be fine on the glossy bits.

This. It's abrasive, so will at the very least smooth the finish out and make the area more noticeable.

No, not safe on matte finish. Down side with matte finishes. You can't polish out scratches well.

Colour magic might hide some scratches, but what ever you do, don't rub hard as they all contain varying amounts of abrasive. You are probably safer just to use muc off protect and shine - it's just silicone spray.
