I'm in Aberdeen - with 1st class post often taking several days to get here. I put an order into Merlin at 15.07 yesterday afternoon, and took the free delivery option. At 15.37 I got an email saying it had been despatched by Royal Mail with a tracking number. At 11.38 today I got a text from my daughter saying a package just arrived for you and I had to sign for it.
I got home, and amazingly enough it was my order; a pair of tyres, a new cassette and a chain. I've had good service from them before, but this really is exceptional. They are slowly but surely becoming my on-line retailer of choice.
