We had lardons with our puy lentils tonight, the little fellas will love to soak up your chorizo fat nom nom.
Anyway olive oil is so last year dahling, cold-pressed rapeseed oil is where it's at these days.

I'd have gone for butter if I'd not had the spicy sausage fat. Seemed a shame to waste it, although I suppose I could have fried an egg in it tomorrow. But I've eaten quite a lot of Guernsey butter in the last week. I hope that t**t Gillian McKeith is reading this.

Olive oil is one of those things my mother will never understand, like bottled water and alternative comedy. As far as she's concerned it's something you warm up and pour into your ears when you've got excessive wax.

Anyway, theclaud, surely you've moved onto organic hand-pooed argan by now?
As it happens, I have argan oil on my hair. Because I'm so f**king exotic.

Are you insane? These were Puy lentils, for extra Middle-Classness! Lentils of all kinds are the food of the Gods, but even divine cuisine can be improved by bacon and/or sausages.
