I once spent an uncomfortable night having my tent bombarded with avocados, thrown by a troop of baboons. Utterly unconnected with the socio-political comment of the OP, but, there it is. I thought I'd share it anyway, so that next time you are faced with camping in the African bush in the vicinity of an avocada tree you can't all say that you haven't been warned.
