A friend of mine wears sandals most of the time WITH SOCKS

When I'm summer cycle touring I wear sandals without socks except when its cold and raining when I add Sealskins socks to the sandals. Much better than carrying a spare pair of shoes.

Yes I've heard of the fashion police and don't give a stuff! I wear sandals to cycle sometimes and, at other times, sandals to walk in and I always wear socks . To not wear socks invites selective sunburn if my feet .

So Yah! Boo! Sucks to Fnaar!

Nope, Vibram Five Fingers - they are sooooooooooo good to wear.

I've looked at them several times, but I just can't bring myself to pay £100+ for a pair of socks dipped in tar.

For sandals, I haven't found anything to beat the original Tevas.
