The owner of my local health food shop is nicknamed (by me) 'Sandals' because he likes to wear them all year round....with socks. He's a lovely bloke but his stuff is very expensive and he carries half his lunch in his beard. And he's got one of those tiny electric cars that has just enough room for him and one of his lentil farts.

I have a pair of birkenstocks and TWO pairs of Merrell sandals.

I don't wear them with socks though, so my feet aren't pale but the little toe on my right foot is a funny shape.

I have both Birkenstocks and Merrell sandals and cycle in both ... both give me strange tan lines on my feet.
