Just cycled home 20 miles, which takes me to about 650 miles on the bike and on track (nearly) for 1000 miles this year (I know this isn't a lot, but just started in August and a bit infrequent at the moment!)

Using Cyclemeter app and changed miles to kilometres - actually cycled 33 kilometres home and have put in 1024 kilometres so far!

... which is exactly the same, but sounds better!

So what is the norm for talking about cycling distance - manly miles or kilometres?

Kilometres is the language of international cycling, though most riders in this country still use miles. My computer is set to Kilos because that's how it came and I couldn't be bothered to alter it.
