Found out! My tyres say 60-85 psi, so could I get away with the MTB one after all?

I had two visits from the Fairy in the last six days. She really seems to like me. Today a bought a couple of new tyres and changed them over. That is four opportunities to use the Lezyne Road Drive in a week. What a wonderful pump! It is also a great piece of engineering, and a wonder to behold. My tyres are 7.5 Bar and it took 140 strokes to get them to that from flat , without great effort. I checked the pressure with my track pump.

A great little pump. A flexible hose makes life so much more pleasant.

Get the biggest pump that fits on your bike.Mini-pumps are the spawn of Stan. Even if they work, you are left pumping away for an age to get to a rideable pressure.


A big pump will always work better than a small pump of an equivalent standard of construction. A size 2 HPx is noticeably less good than a size 4 HPx; a Road Morph works about as well as a size 2 HPx, but isn't really much smaller.
