Minor road works sprouting up all over the place.....

Theres a set of temporary lights nearby on the road outside a new housing development. They do however seem to have forgotten the roadworks, the lights on either side are on permanent green facing both ways and I've yet to see over the past couple of weeks any evidence that there will be any work starting.

I saw a road worker fill a pot hole near here with tarmac on Thursday, the pot hole was back again this morning and the tarmac scattered over the road. It has been reported.

And the Carncils wonder why they're short of money.

A dollop of tarmac a pat down with the back of the shovel and move on, it must be soul destroying for the people doing the job to know that are doing it extremely poorly, there surely cannot be any pride in a job like that.

Shrewsbury has been one long set of roadworks for about 3 years now, starting with water main replacements and now road “improvements” in the Town Centre.

Gridlock on numerous days.
