Cycled to Whipps Cross (in shorts and stuff) went into the Hospital and noted it's like a tropical heat in there.:sun:

It's funny how much some people are wrapped up,even peoples in their cars, you'd think we were living in Russia.

There is ice on the inside of my office window; I wish I hadn't spilt half my flask of coffee this morning

I wish I had a window in my office so that I could write "poo" on it.
Met a regular on my ride in today who lives in Epsom. He was in shorts and mittens. English.
The guy on the MTB? I swear he wears shorts all year round.

I don't know what temp it was when I left at 5pm last night, but I got chatted up at a set of traffic lights by a "cyclist" who was in his car, he thought I was "well brave" for cycling in the cold weather and wanted to know how far I was going - yesterday's total 36 miles... He gave me a parting "good on u lass" as the lights changed (shame he was half my age!). It seemed warmer on the way home after my pilates class, though don't know why... it wasn't. All done on the road bike with normal 25mm tyres.
This morning, I paniced  when I saw snowflakes and went and fitted the Schwalbe Marathon Winters to my mountain bike before cycling to college, but the flakes promptly went away, but at least they are now actually on my bike, and some distance has been done on them ready for that "snow" we are apparently getting tomorrow - finger's crossed it arrives that way I can go and play rather than my mother visiting me .

I have also finally found a way fo keeping my leg warmers up - they are constantly falling down and yesterday I didn't wear them at all. today I tried them under my leggings which works a treat... toastie...

Seems like there are several of us hoping that it will properly snow! I want to go for a hack around our local reservoir if it snows!
