On my MTB, I have a bar end mirror on the RHS of the handlebar which is probably the best safety thing I have bought for my bike so far.
I like to see what is going on behind me without having to crane my head back every five seconds (I still look back though before doing right hand turns etc.).
I'd like to fit a mirror to the road bike but I'm not sure of the best option? I could fit a bar end mirror but I'm not sure how well this would work with it being lower down and with my right arm somewhat in the way when I am on the controls.
I've seen a few road bikes with mirrors on flexi stalks but wouldn't they be too easy to knock out of alignment?
Any road bikers out there with a mirror/mirrors?
