Keep old birthday and Christmas cards and Tipex out the names so you can re-use them next time.

Save on TipEx and just re-use the family ones next year

they can last 10 or more years of kept carefully

(I got this from my ex-boss whose wife actually did this - he had only ever written one card for his wife - and that was before they were married!!!)

Put the christmas edition of the Radio Times up in the loft with the decorations so that you can bring it down and use it again next year.

Save money on buying a new brush and help the environment by just keep using your old one.

Over the years, you can replace the heads and handles as needed, but you will still be the proud owner of the same brush you had on the first day!

Left handed people:

If you have difficulty finding left handed scissors, pens, pencils (they do exist apparently), etc, just learn to be ambidextrous and use the more common right handed ones instead!

By being far more common, you are sure to find them a lot cheaper!
