I saw some reasonable looking Tern bikes on Evans website - not sure how long they've been on there.

Some are more expensive than a Brompton, and there's even one with drop handlebars and some blue colouring which should make @ianrauk feel at home.

I never got on with my Brompton. it was just too twitcy. One experienced reviewer says they don't have enough trail (and he was an owner). I have a Tern Link D8 which I bought used, though with a new frame under the recall replacement. Been very happy with it. Very solid & much more stable. The derailleur change has worsened but I've not got round to taking a look at it yet. Will consider changing RD, chain, cassette and shifter to give it all a new lease of life. These are all "used" components at the time I bought it, so it's reasonable to consider replacing them all.

I only found the Brompton twitchy on the first couple of rides. Once a few miles under my belt it was fine and even quite easy to throw about when mixing it will busy traffic.
