manuel would have to be east european (spaniards these days speak pretty good english)

Can't stand Dad's Army! anytime you mention it someone always say's "Don't tell him Pike!" I have seen that episode and its just not funny!

I'm a fan of Dad's Army but I don't like that episode either. I've always thought it was over-rated and any comic value it might have had is done to death by now.


My favourite episode is the feature length one where they have a competition with the Eastgate platoon and ends with Jones completely pissed and hanging of a flagpole.

sorry Wigsie but I've got to agree with you, I know, it hurts us both, but Dad's Army made my heart sink as a kid, almost as bad as Last of the Summer Wine
