The Treasury at Petra, you approach on horseback down the Siq, a narrow gloomy ravine deep in the rock. Then you round a corner and you gasp as you get your first sight of the Treasury, carved out of solid sandstone. Unforgettable.
I was over in Lancaster with my sisters last Saturday. We thought it looked really nice, though the traffic on its little ring road was a pain!
