I'm first generation Irish with a long history of family visits back to the old country and I find it side splittingly funny. Brendan carrys it with the rest of the cast sadly not of his standard, but it is what it is.
I find Python mostly stupid and up its own arse and modern alternative comedians okay to a point......funny is funny...if its up you own strata ( what ever that bollox means )

As with RichP, I quickly switch the tv off - can't abide Mrs Brown !

Obvious & predictable comedy, from the Norman Wisdom school of humour.

I think mine included there are a lot of posts in here that should have the words, in my opinion on the end.

Mind you if you do not get the show you must have had a humour by pass a operation at some time, in my opinion.^_^

It has it's moments, just not many of them, and it's beginning to tire a little...

What do you mean 'it's beginning to tire a little'? It was cataleptic from the outset.

Actually I have just watched this this evening, and have quite enjoyed it.

Not the script itself, but the fact that is is "live"

One of the cast walks on with his phone which rings, the next few moments are "phone jokes" until one of them loses it and has to leave, coming back in to start again.

It's not funny, and neither is the fact that they have a picture of the idiot who plays the main part on the wall of one of my local pubs! I have to sit there and look at the twonk in a wig and make up!
