Its a glorious warm sunny morning in Coventry, I feel a bike ride coming on

Knackered now. Have overdone it rather today but we were out on time (10am) everything fitted into the new vehicle much to our surprise and there was room left over... My OH is worried about this turn of events. I'm known, very well known, for my ability to get anything into a vehicle but the springs /shock absorbers never ever to be the same again. Personally I didn't think the SUV batted an eyelid over it but... hey ho.

The new place is noisy. The frogs are making a racket!

We've done IKEA yet again. I needed something I could sit on, so the stuff we were expecting to purchase it 9 days time for me to sit on has now been purchased.

Breakfast was had at 7am.
Second breakfast was had at roughly 10:30am at the vegan Cafe in Braddon which was absolutely packed so we say outside in the sunshine which was fabulous. My extra hot cashew nut milk latte took rather a while because they had to make a fresh batch of cashew nut milk up because they had run out. Sadly the sticky date cake had banana in it (I didn't ask) and I hate banana... traded it for my OH's apple and crumble muffin (this was after a tempeh sausage roll and half a peanut butter cookie (:mrpig:)

Lunch was had at IKEA at 1pm (the veggie balls are actually vegan) along with another soya latte... No cake, none of it is dairy free sadly....

And now for a beer and a light evening meal.... This is after an Almond milk cocoa and some vegan biscuits I still have left over from the UK.... (actually they are Belgian and served with coffee and no one realises they are vegan!)

And then I might just stop for bed...

Exhausted.

Today's dietary restriction of 1,200 calories might just not have happened.

I have to see wrist surgeon on Wednesday and the worst case is I might have to get it rebroken.

Some years ago my Dad found out his wrist had been broken since a footballing accident when he was 15. I think he found out aged 50. Anyway because it had obviously healed but reformed wrong he had it pinned. The surgeon signed his pins when they came out some years later as he had never pinned a break that was so old and wanted his name on them in case they ever got found years later.

Strangely enough, these stories give me hope. I am in the midst of trying to investigate pain in my foot which I think is a result of being trodden on by a huge horse 15 years ago! All the xrays come back marked 'normal', when it clearly isn't. Nevertheless, that's bad news @User259, gws.
@hopless500 has a dodgy foot like that I think.

I had a very small elbow fracture several years ago now, but I hadn't realised that it was going to be something that ached on and off once healed. Makes me feel for those who have far more significant injuries and the sort of background pain that they may be continually in, let alone when it flares up.

I hope you get it sorted Mort!
