In case you need a weather report... my roofers have turned up ... I'm expecting rain any moment now!

right the roofers have left ... hopefully for good... now the only things left are.... wait for it to rain and see the rain stays on the outside, pay them (reduced amount to take into account the damage), and fix the gutter (initially temporarily with a bit of plastic guttering) so that you can walk in the front door without a drenching!

Phew I'm glad that's almost over!

I've literally just opened ours as my Christmas cake was finished yesterday. It is delicious.

So the zatar chicken is going to go into the fridge and I'll have some fish on my own instead.
