Is anyone else watching "Westing" the Norwegian crime series?

Part one and two (of series three) was on BBC last night, and it was good. Some of it is in English, it is not all subtitles.

Ooh, I've seen some of them but I didn't know there was a new series. I've just got a Channel 4 series to finish first....

Ray Mears did a series of programmes about the explorers in Canada who travelled by canoe.

On the first day of any journey, they only did a few miles in the canoe before setting up the camp.
So if they had forgotten anything, they could go back for it. The next day they would cover a more significant mileage.

Also The States, my hometown was founded by Pere Marquette and Louis Joliet. They arrived via canoe and landed near Westinghouse Air Brake, but it was not there then.

Shorts and T-shirt on bike this morning. Someone has turned the thermostat down since yesterday. Still dry roads and sun, which is nice after the wet winter we have had.

Back from the vets following on from earlier this week. We've now spoken to the vet that know what he's doing. Diabetes has now been ruled out, It's either a kidney problem or a form of none acute pancreatitis. So Chaile's back on Wednesday for an ultra sound to see what's going on. On a plus note he's but weight on.

Showery day but some sunny bits.
I took my spare artificial flowers and headed to the new cemetery to change the flowers at my wife’s grave. Even artificial ones get a bit tired looking after some time so I changed the white roses which she specified and left a mix of red and white.
Anything organic gets eaten by the red deer which infest the place and a lot of other grave sites were in disarray. The snowdrops which I planted are thriving tho’ so they cannot taste good.
Should add that as soon as I arrived at the cemetery the heavens opened and it poured rain while I was there.
Continued up to my wildlife pal who is having problems working out public transport with the ferries being unreliable just now and trains from Oban seem to be cancelled.
He has to get to Dunoon and then to Glasgow airport which is not as simple as it sounds. Forgot to ask why he is not taking his car and leaving it in a long stay car park.
When my younger son was a contract diver with lots of jobs in the middle east he kept an old banger which was his airport car and it spent most of it’s life sitting in airport car parks.

One annoyance. Why does and keep coming up as snd? No matter how careful I try to be this happens all the time and is only apparent when I double check anything I have written.
