Anyone else in receipt of an e-mail sent since Saturday, concerning a ban on global dimming?

Apparently, in an attempt to cool the planet it's been proposed that the sky be seeded to scatter and reflect sunlight back into space. It's been worked out that they could slow the annual increase by as much as 1°C, Year on year.
Not certain how cold that would make it on a day to day basis.

Yes, there was a petition mailout about stratospheric aerosol injection a couple of days ago. I signed it, mostly because of the danger of unintended consequences.

I was trying to think of something funny, but that is spot on!

On Friday I hit a post with my left hand. The injured finger is on the right fortunately.

And yes, I'm riding and have been very carefully for the past two months. I'm cleared to start racing again from the end of June.

In terms of issues I'm struggling a bit with dexterity, so the shifter angle is raised slightly. Also I can't ride too far yet as the vibrations make the finger hurt, as does hitting any potholes.

Hopefully you're recovering with a similar operation?

oh mine was very superficial, but thank you. I am using it for everything, cleaning garages, cutting lumber, loading cement, washing dishes all the fun stuff. my poor bicycles have been neglected however but not due to the finger
