I came to a compromise with myself - did the kitchen part of domestics today and will do the bedding & vacuuming on Wednesday giving myself a little bit of outside time on both days. Still cold & breezy out there.
No need for an afternoon kip having slept well last night which means it's almost time to have something to eat.

It's been a grey and chilly day here chez Casa Reynard, with a blustery northerly breeze.

Slept well. Morning was spent catching up on chores. Also refilled the fruit bowls, restocked the kitchen fridge with cheese and watered all the indoor and outdoor plants.

Lovely luncheon of sourdough toast, the last of the Polish sausage, the last of the Cornish Blue and cheddar cheeses, plus some fruit and the obligatory :cuppa:

Was not impressed with the Gala apples I bought in Tesco. Yes, they are crisp, yes they are juicy, but compared to the heritage varieties from the community orchard, the flavour is one dimensional, muted and well, boring.

This afternoon I the grass around the house, and then I tootled off to Littleport to pick up the parental's prescription.

Now sat watching the evening news whilst supping on another :cuppa:

Afternoon meeting in Ripon and found a nice shady free on street parking space. Then spent most of the meeting wondering if the space was restricted in any manner. Rushed back to the car post meeting and it turned out the space wasn't restricted at all
Petrol was a penny cheaper so the car got a full tank.

Ebiked to dispose of the old navy jacket. As there might still be 3 way temporary lights on the normal route to town a rare evening ascent of Humps and a Hill. The ebike clearly unhappy at being forced up it and promptly disconnected its battery :cursing: Better behave going to work tomorrow.
Recycling bin at Asda had just enough room so a short 4.5 miles.
