I woke up with the distinct impression that it was Wednesday. Better get organised for Thursday I told myself. But luckily part of getting organised involves figuring out what day it is. And relax....
I blame Bank Holidays for disrupting the flow of the time continuum.
Good morning from Suffolk where it's starting to cloud over after a bright start to the day. Still a bit damp underfoot from overnight rain.
Coffee has been had from a freshly opened pack.
Given the forecast is for more wetness this afternoon, I'll be shortly popping out for a bit of shopping as I have a couple of vouchers for free vegetables (spuds) and apples that need to be used by the end of today. Also milk is required as I've used the last of what was in the fridge on this morning's Weetabix.
Station bike to the LBS, first thing. Sort the gears, please. Mostly for visitors, but I find it a nice ride. The absence of battery support might temper my enthusiasm for using it.
Then neighbour to the vet means the car is not available, until noon.
Tidying garage is this morning's euphemism.
Then, subject to car availability, p.m. off to Vanessa and restore her rear view. Is that enough innuendo?
Walked the grandkids around Hawkestone Park Follies. 5.3 miles and 46 flights of stairs according to my tracker.
It was quiet in the car on the way home…
Shopping done and home just as the rain started earlier than forecast which put paid to another quick outing in the dry. As a result the vacuuming has been done and I'm sat here with a glass of squash, a mug of coffee and a cheese roll while the kitchen floor dries having been steam mopped.
