Good morning from a bright and breezy Suffolk. An inadvertent early awakening today as I'd forgotten to cancel the 06:30 alarm setting after yesterday morning. Managed to roll over and get another hour and a half's kip so I must have been tired after being out all of Sunday.

Coffee has been had and a burger and a roll have been removed from the freezer for tonight's tea. Two or three hours out on the bike later on should help build an appetite.

Sunny and windy. Was tempting to put the ebike on charge outside only for a heavy downpour. Back to sunny.
Breadmaker on.
Homemade squirrel baffel above the feeder has only partially worked as although it has stopped the american invader from launching itself from the fence to the bird feeder post, it has now taken to climbing the post, occasionally with difficulty and sliding back down, so a post mounting baffle ordered.

Father in law at a walk in Health Centre right at this moment.Going to have his wounds dressed correctly. One is 3" x 3" and looks like it was taken of with a spud peeler.Going to admit looking after him is going to be a challenge as he gets older and weaker.Just this week he has fallen twice for no reason. He looks older after those falls.

Decided to drag the ebike into the kitchen and charge it to at least 80%.
One heavy downpour whilst that was happening and then another as I was putting it back in the bike shed.
In the meantime had remembered I needed to check my shirts but it transpired they had not all necessarily shrunk* rather there wearer now needs a larger collar (* the more worn ones have definitely shrunk as the cuffs are too tight to get hands through when fastened)
Off to Sainsbury's yet again as they still have a fifth off clothing and a twin pack of white ones purchased which should cover the odd days a tie is needed.

The sunshine didn't last long this morning while the breeze seemed to pick up a bit. Managed to get a fast paced (for me) 40 miles in despite it feeling like a headwind all the way. There's now a bit of light drizzle happening.

It'll soon be time to dig out the air fryer to cook myself a burger and chips for tea as a treat.
