That's today's motor racing done and dusted.

I have seen the Indy 500 - laps 35-200 then back to the start to watch laps 1-34 which I missed while sorting myself out having got back from Snetterton.

That only leaves the Formula 1 to watch. And both F3 races, both F2 races and the BTCC meeting.

The BTCC races were great to watch. Although I found myself questioning the wisdom of the disparity in tyres chosen for this meeting. IMHO there was just too big a gap in performance between the hard and the soft. With obvious consequences.

I have one that I used when exhibiting at cat shows. Takes two cat carriers, a folding chair and a large holdall.

Incidentally, the current chapter of my novel is set at Snetterton, so watching today's BTCC coverage was a good aide memoire. And in an earlier chapter, my main character uses the phone box on the start-finish straight to switch between the different timelines.
