Good morning from a grey, gloomy and damp Leeds. Same hotel as last Friday night, same 8th floor but on the opposite side so the view is of multiple student accommodation blocks.

Room only again so off into town for breakfast shortly. Coffee has been had.

How do you manage to do it yourself ?
I have tried a few times but just can't see well enough once I take my glasses off
Very carefully with multiple passes of the clippers and a couple of checks in the bathroom mirror to make sure I've not missed a bit.
*snip* (A simple #1 all round these days.)
I used to have a grade 2, but went slightly longer when I started looking like my dad. These days it's a 6 in the colder months for a bit of thermal protection and a 4 in the warmer months for ventilation and sun protection.

Evening hot chocolate went down well with half a custard doughnut

That's strong willed!

And I spent a lovely evening in a "Hard Compound" web chat with Howden Ganley.

He raced F1, F5000, Can Am and sports prototypes in the late 60s / early 70s, and then had a hand in designing and building the Tiga Sports 2000 and C2 cars. Absolutely fascinating.

After the web chat, I did some more on the drawing of the Reynard 893 that I started this afternoon. I'm working from a photo that's been taken with something like a 20mm lens, so the perspective is... interesting.

Deciding which curved lines should be straight?

Dunno 'bout @Jenkins but I do it mostly by feel.

Hair care must be in the air. The first thing I did after getting up was to run the clippers over the back of my head. And then I look on here and see mention of hair cutting. (A simple #1 all round these days.)

Wife complained it looked too stark like that last time, so this time I used the next size up on the top, 9mm & 22mm. Forgot my eyebrows this time.

When I was a kid I always wanted a "crew cut", but wasn't allowed.

I was just thinking that it would be a strange sight seeing a person as bald as a Coot but having huge bushy eyebrows like Dennis Healey.

If you don't get your haircut you don't get the eyebrows trimmed.

I suppose we shouldn't ask the ladies if they get theirs trimmed.
