You could reinstate the Suffolk stage of the Milk Race. (For those who still have a vague recollection of the Milk Marketing Board's sponsorship of the tour of Britain.)

For me it wouldn't so much be the Milk Race* but more the Milk Nice Little Ride Around

*yes, I am old enough to remember that - and the town centre cycle races they used to hold in Ipswich for a couple of years

I made it to Campbeltown anyway. Turned into a lovely evening. Just over sixty miles completed. I do feel tired now.

I intend to visit the Springbank distillery tomorrow morning, and then see what I'll be doing.

The real Campbeltown?
I've sailed there. Interesting and challenging arrival. Requires a level of competence I didn't think I had.
On hold across the Loch waiting for a ferry.
My bike has covered hundreds of miles on the back of a van and not been pedalled at all.

What a lovely day for a ride.
Popped out to get the milk - from Aldi in Stowmarket, taking the long way round for 42 miles. Sunshine all the way, not too warm but with a slowly strengthening headwind. Stopped for a drink before getting the train home only to find out they had one of my favourite beers on the go so had a second and caught the next train.
Nothing else whatsoever done today other than watering the plants.
