Stayed local and clocked up 25 miles as we forecast biblical amounts of rain well 2 hours later and only seen a dozen spots of rain.

The Tall Ships Race is on in Aberdeen. The event organiser said that there is something for everyone there. So if you are hoping to snap up a classic bike cheap it must be there!

I was looking at the riders of the TdF at the finish yesterday. Pogacar looked like he had just sprinted 100 yds whilst Jonas Vinegar looked I would be at the start line of the time trial.

I ordered an MIJ plate this morning. Just one as it was all they had in stock of the type I was after.

There's a typhoon heading our way for tomorrow, the day I'm supposed to fly to Bangkok.

Just spent 2 hours getting it rebooked, I had to wait online, so going next Saturday instead.

Good morning from Suffolk where it's a grey, overcast start to the day and very wet underfoot after a night of fairly heavy rain. Coffee has eventually been had after a decent lie in.

No plans for the day as yet, but a gentle pootle may be had once it dries up and the possibility of further rain passes.
